Indoor growing

Indoors, Biscotti doesn't stretch much once flowering starts, though she does bulk up noticeably in the first couple weeks. Height stays manageable, which is one reason she suits smaller tents. Flowering wraps up in about 8 to 9 weeks (56–63 days), sometimes running a little longer depending on the environment. Expect yields around 400–500 g/m², or roughly 1.3 to 1.6 oz per square foot. A bit of canopy management during early flowering helps keep light reaching the lower buds.

Outdoor growing

Outdoors, Biscotti prefers a warm, dry climate, something close to Mediterranean conditions, and does best when she can finish without fighting excess moisture. In cooler or more humid regions, rain protection and some pruning for airflow become important. Harvest typically lands in early to mid-October, though this shifts with local climate and how much sun and warmth the plant gets during the season. Under favorable outdoor conditions, an experienced grower may see yields up to around 1.5 lbs (24 oz) per plant, with warmer, sunnier finishes tending to bring out more resin and deeper flavor.

Training and plant care

Biscotti responds well to training methods like topping, low-stress training, and SCROG, thanks to fairly flexible branches. These techniques can help open up the canopy, which may improve airflow and let more light reach lower bud sites. Better airflow can also help reduce mold risk in those dense buds, though it isn't a guarantee against it. Her sturdy branch structure generally supports the weight of her buds on its own, but support stakes are an option if a particular plant needs it.

Because bud density is where Biscotti's mold risk comes from, keeping humidity low during flowering, ideally around 30%–35%, along with good air circulation, may help reduce that risk. She shows moderate tolerance to common pests thanks to sturdier stems and leaves, but dense buds can still hide pests if the plant isn't checked regularly, so she isn't naturally pest-proof.

Flavors

While flowering, Biscotti gives off a sweet smell with a light diesel note running through it, plus a baked-cookie warmth that some growers compare to fresh biscotti or vanilla and nuts. Once cured, the flavor turns creamy and sugary, with earthy, spicy undertones underneath. It reads more like dessert than diesel, but both are in there.

Effects

Reported effects start with a euphoric lift that eases into a relaxing, body-calming feel over time. Many describe it as a couch-lock type of high suited to evening or nighttime use.
