Description
Northern Light Feminized comes from an Afghani IBL genetic line, giving her a stable, indica-dominant profile with reported THC in the 14%–19% range. She's a fast finisher, with flowering as quick as 7 weeks in some conditions.
Break open a bud and earthy, piney notes come through first, backed by spicy and sweet hash-like overtones. Buds grow dense and rock-hard, packed tightly along the branches.
Indoors, she stays short and stocky. Yield potential runs high, in the 1.6 oz/ft² range indoors. Given her easy grow rating, fast flowering time, and compact size, Northern Light Feminized suits beginner and commercial growers alike wanting quick, reliable results.
Grow info
Northern Light Feminized is a stable, uniform cultivar, developed through extensive backcrossing of the original Afghani line.
Indoor growing
Indoors, she performs well in a Sea of Green setup, growing short and stocky with a fat main stem and dark green, waxy leaves. She finishes low and doesn't stretch much once flowering begins. Short, tightly stacked internodal spacing leads to small, dense buds filling the branches. Flowering takes as little as 7 weeks in some cases. Indoor yield can reach up to about 1.6 oz per square foot.
Outdoor growing
Outdoors, she keeps a low, chunky profile with a mild terpene profile, making her a reasonable choice for stealth growing. Planting in spring is recommended, with harvest possible after about 50 days of flowering; planting from seed in April typically leads to a harvest in early October, depending on climate. Outdoor yield can reach up to about 21 oz per plant, with topping, LST, and larger pots recommended to help increase yield further.
Training and plant care
Topping and tying down during the vegetative stage are recommended to open up the canopy and encourage bushier, more even growth. Topping once flowering has started should be avoided, as it can stunt the plants. This strain has shown good tolerance to a range of climates.
