Description
Runtz Feminized comes from crossing Zkittlez with Gelato, giving her a balanced hybrid profile with reported THC in the 24%–29% range. She's easy to grow and flowers in as little as 8 to 9 weeks.
Break open a bud and sweet, candy-like notes come through first, backed by citrus and fruity tones. Buds grow trichome-coated with purple and pink hues.
Indoors, she stays short, typically finishing around 4.3 ft. Yield potential runs very high, in the 500–600 g/m² range indoors. Given her easy grow rating, low maintenance needs, and fast flowering time, Runtz Feminized suits beginner growers as well as those in shorter-summer climates.
Grow info
Runtz Feminized has a medium-sized stretch once flowering starts and can take a high amount of nutrients.
Indoor growing
Indoors, she stays short and expresses an indica-leaning structure, stretching to a medium height once flowering begins. She responds well to plant training such as LST and pruning, and can tolerate a higher EC level than most plants. Flowering takes about 8 to 9 weeks, depending on phenotype and pot size. Indoor yield can reach up to about 600 g/m² (0.123 lbs per square foot).
Outdoor growing
Outdoors, she's shown good tolerance to hot climates such as California or the Mediterranean, and her fast flowering time suits growers with shorter summers. Pots of about 13 to 26 gallons are recommended, along with a south-facing location. Planting at the end of April is recommended, with harvest expected around the end of October or first week of November. Outdoor yield can reach up to about 1.3 lbs per plant.
Training and plant care
Topping and tying down during the vegetative stage is recommended for the most productive plants, along with pruning the lowest growth before flowering. This strain has shown good tolerance to high temperatures and a range of weather conditions.
