I had some issues, so only one plant survived the vegatative stage. However compared to the 4 or 5 other strains it was flowered with, it was a small and low production plant, so I don't know what to think. Giving it a neutral review, based on only one plant. Would try again, we had a hurricane and extended power outage, not the fault of the plant.

I have been growing Somango XXL for several years now and it is my and my wife's favorite strain. It is potent with a mild smoke and very pleasant high. It is easy to grow indoors and quite resistant to pests. I recommend it to every one who asks me about what to grow. These girls produce nice big heavy buds at the top and many smaller buds on the lower branches. Nirvana is my only reliable source of Somango XXL They come through every time.

Got these as freebies!! You would think if free then probably not very good wrong they all popped and I was surprised that I ended up reveging 2 of the plants after the harvest because of the big fat sticky nugs I will def be taking a few clones off them both and keeping them in my mother room. I feel I found a diamond in a freebie pack great job nirvana I will def keeping getting new genetics from you!!

deffintly a great veg plant and strong finisher

I grew two plants and found them both to be highly productive and robust. The buds grew with calyxes that stacked like piles of peas, and I would consider this variety to first and foremost be a "size queen." I feel there are more powerful plants with tighter buds to be had, but, for heavy yields of impressively large buds for every day use, you wouldn't regret running this one.

Expect nothing less then what's in the description. Nirvana is the best.

Easy to grow big yealding

I really enjoy the effect from Somango. I can think fairly clearly, it calms me, and unlike a lot of other strains, it doesn't interfere with my sleep too much. This is one of my favorites.

Bought these along with some B52 Feminized beans. Planted one, it popped, and is now growing to be a rather full and healthy plant. Well into the veg stage. May keep it there for a while. Maybe try to make a couple of clones. We'll see. But in the meantime, I still have my auto's to keep me busy....

I grew this strain outside in 20 gallon cloth grow bags. I highly recommend growing with cloth grow bags as it is virtually impossible to over water the rhizome layer. So many beginning growers will use a hard container and possibly introduce root rot by over watering their babies. Somango XXL will grow tall, if grown with the proper soil, nutrients and lots of direct sunshine. All three of my Somango XXLs exceeded the height of my 7' (2.13 Meters) fence. The total dry yield for three plants was a little over 700 grams, pretty decent yield for an easy to grow plant.

I donate most of my flowers to a local oncology volunteer group that makes budder for the patients in their care to promote appetites and also as an anti-emetic to combat nausea for those in chemo or radiation therapies. Their feedback from the patients has been very positive. Of the couple of ounces I kept, I found the smoke to be flavorful and the impact just about perfect. A really great strain.
