Gelato Feminized comes from crossing Sunset Sherbet with Thin Mint GSC, giving her a balanced hybrid profile with reported THC in the 18%–22% range.
Break open a bud and citrus comes through first, backed by earthy and spicy undertones with a sweet cookie-dough character. As she flowers, pistils turn bright orange, wrapping around resin-coated buds that develop purple and green hues.
Indoors, she grows to an average height, typically finishing around 4.6–5 ft, and flowers in about 8 to 10 weeks. Yield potential runs high, in the 1.8 oz/ft² range indoors. Given her easy grow rating, moderate height, and high THC range, Gelato Feminized suits beginner and experienced growers alike, as well as consumers with some tolerance looking for a flavorful, potent strain.

Gelato Autoflower comes from crossing Gelato with a Ruderalis male, giving her a balanced hybrid autoflowering profile with reported THC in the 18%–22% range. Being an autoflower, she runs through her life cycle on her own schedule without needing a light change to trigger flowering, and finishes from seed in about 8 to 9 weeks.

I’ve ordered my seeds for many different companies over the past decade. I always go to Nirvana a couple times a year. The quality of their seeds is top shelf. I ordered four different strains this time biscotti gelato, cookies and cream and Sunset sherbet. I am anxious to try them all. I will write more reviews once I get the seeds and get them germinated. Nirvana tried twice, but ultimately the seeds were confiscated by customs first and the US Postal service the second time.
Amazed... Gelato did will in ground in 2024.. huge rock solid buds... One turned purple... Cured & does hav the Gelato taste when it hits your palate.... Good stoned feeling..

I just cut down my second Gelato grow. The first one I let grow tall and that was a mistake. I have a 4x4'x7' shed, lined with Mylar, white floor, 3 huge mirrors with state of the art lights and variable exhaust fan. Two small Tornado fans, one on the floor and one above the girls. This time I used a net, lollipopped them and the lower branches flowers grew about 3-4" the cola on the end was avg 8'. I used FF with 15% perlite Adv Nutes Sensi for veg and Adv Notes Connoseir for flower B52, Bud Candy, Big Bud & Overdrive.
RO water, skip day, Feed skip day, water skip a day. 4 weeks veg and 6 weeks Flower. Are like crazy. GOT RED MITES UGH. Released a bag full of Lady Bugs and they ate all the Mites!!! Gone Harvested 4 OZ per plant. Let cure month and is smooth and potent. PERFECTO
Perfect strength and taste. Pain and PTSD softened.
They grow tall unless you used a net. 4'x4' grow room and Advanced Nutes yields 8 oz. on two plants. 9"flowers.

Who doesn't like Gelato! This one might just end up your best tasting gelato ever, albeit the plant variety. The taste is definitely sweet and has that special treat appeal. Enjoy this one if you haven't already!

Grew both indoor and out. The plants take off like rockets on thick purple stalks. The flowers are enormous and the colors are exceptionally cool. The high is very strong, but I find it sort of stupifying. Best for nightime.
Was just starting when I did this strain and did not go well. Mostly my fault as a new self grower at the time. Really liked the one plant that made it but was definitely a plant you had to get to know. It seems like each one had its on personality. Recommend for experience growers.
My final photos look as identical to the 1 in the photo after I grew my 5 I picked the best phenome which is the 1 in photo massive buds which need support forsure

Preparing to grow the rest of the gelato, one thing I’m very happy with is being able to store the seeds for a very long time before use with no germination issues. Gelato is one of my favorite strains to grow from nirvana, I will be getting more.

It was tougher to grow. Only had 1 purple of 4. But the 1 was amazing. Would like to try again.
Not the superweed I expected, after all the hype I've heard about, but definitely a strong strain, medium high yield. Lot of variation, I got 3 phenos, 8, 9, and 9 1/2 week flower times. 8 week pheno seems slightly prone to budrot, you have to check them daily near the end, partly my fault because first run was 9 week pheno, they caught me by surprise being finished at less than 60 days. Easy to clone and grow, medium height.
The indica genetics keep this one centered and growing proportionately , but supplies the sativa "buzz"

My first “single” plant grow… have always had at least two going in our tent. By far our best grow with Gelato feminized seed. They always produce, but this seed gave us 10oz indoors. LST and some topping. Was a thirsty girl her whole grow. Gorgeous dense buds, heavy crystal, delicious smell. Highly recommend.
